Many of us at The Rocks are searching for ways to deepen our relationship with Jesus and truly embody our faith. We want to understand how to inspire others and ourselves to follow Him more closely.
Despite all of our best efforts, some of us may still feel disconnected or unsure about our next steps in our faith journey. With about a third of our attendees having never been to church before, there’s a clear need for intentional discipleship that doesn’t assume prior knowledge or experience. This presents a joyful yet immense responsibility to guide everyone, regardless of their starting point, in understanding and practising the way of Jesus.
Pathways at The Rocks exist to help address this need. These structured short-term small groups are designed to meet people where they are and help them grow through various phases of their spiritual journey. Each Pathway targets specific areas of growth, ensuring that every participant can find relevant and transformative content, at the same time as finding a way to connect with people. We believe that those who are connected relationally are more likely to grow spiritually, which is why we have decided to run Pathways instead of traditional courses.
By joining a Pathway, you’ll gain clarity on four essential questions - who God is, who you are, where you fit, and how you can make a difference. These groups foster a supportive environment where you can engage deeply with these questions, share your journey with others, and be inspired to lead a life that reflects Jesus. You are integral to the Church’s mission, and through these Pathways, you will be equipped not only to grow in your own faith but also to inspire and guide others in theirs. Embrace this opportunity to be an active part of a community that is dedicated to following Jesus and making a meaningful impact in the world.
Our Pathways are organised into two categories
Core - the Pathways everyone needs to on their journey of following Jesus.
Focus Tracks - the Pathways designed to meet a specific need or phase of life.
